It was pretty good, I like planes so I was just smiling as people were screaming about the turbulence. I also got a seat behind the wing so it was fun watching the flaps and air brakes.

Going to do some sightseeing, but the main reason is my choir is going to sing in the cathedral church with 3 other really amazing from around the world. I think the performances is on monday

Welcome to Louisiana. There are a couple of us living in the Baton Rouge area and I’m sure I’ve seen posts from an Oppo or two in the NOLA area. There are a ton of things to do while you are there. If you can make any choices about your itinerary, see if you can get to the WWII museum. It’s my favorite place to go while there. Don’t forget to get coffee and beignets at cafe du monde. That’s about all I would recommend for a high-schooler. Good luck and have fun!

Oh believe me, the day I landed I started my hunt for the beignets, loved every bite.
